"Digital Numeric Relevator Mk XXVI - See Saw"
completed January 23, 2006
12" X 5.5" X 12"

This unit uses state of the art accelerometers to determine the changing angle of the displays on each side as a motor tilts them back and forth.  The numbers appear to slide downhill as if affected by gravity.  When the numbers hit the lower end they "slosh" into a 2 layer pile.  The number values change constantly, but increase in size as they approach the ends.

When the work is first plugged in, it displays the title etc.
A number on the bottom right counts down from 9 to 0 seconds,
then the artwork begins it's normal "performance".
